HLM Cardiff’s office has relocated to the award winning Creative Quarter heritage site. The office is a hidden gem, set above the Royal and Morgan Arcades in the heart of the city, providing a new home, more design focused with a cool contemporary studio environment. Senior Interior designer David James chose our Shannon wallcovering to add interest and texture to the space, drawing attention to the beautiful Victorian fire place and providing a backdrop for the video conference facilities.
Architect Dylan Pugh has hand crafted bespoke copper light shades and the impressive geometric stags head that sit so well against the black feature walls, while the new projection and dry ease writing wall covering has been used to create a collaborative break out area, put to great use by Associate Architect Matthew Thomas during HLM’s new studio launch and 10 Year Anniversary party. Staff can enjoy views out over one of Cardiff’s main high streets from the large window seat that features the Lindau upholstery and new life has been breathed into the reception furniture by reupholstering existing chairs in the same fabric, both adding a welcome splash of colour and a place for relaxation for both staff and visitors alike.
